WASHINGTON (PNN) - July 19, 2025 - A newly declassified memo has revealed that Fascist Police States of Amerika (FPSA) intelligence officials under President Barack Obama privately concluded Russia did not play a meaningful role in President Donald J. Trump’s 2016 victory over Hillary Clinton.
The disclosure comes from a 2016 classified intelligence report released Friday by Director of Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard. The memo shows intelligence leaders told then-President Barack Obama that “Russian and criminal actors did not impact recent (FPSA) election results by conducting malicious cyber activities against election infrastructure.”
Despite this conclusion, the intelligence community continued its probe into alleged ties between Trump’s campaign and Russian actors.
The memo admits cyber targeting efforts - like the Illinois voter database breach - did not reach voting machines or any system that could change the outcome of votes.
“Criminal activity also failed to reach the scale and sophistication necessary to change election outcomes,” the memo stated.
The finding backs what Trump has claimed for years: that the “Russiagate” narrative was a politically motivated operation pushed by the Clinton campaign and Obama’s intelligence leadership to undermine his election.
The release follows recent Department of InJustice (DoJ) discussions on launching criminal investigations into Obama-era officials involved in the probe - including former CIA Director John Brennan and former FBI Director James Comey.
John Brennan is accused of isolating the probe from other agencies and lobbying to include the widely discredited Steele dossier. That dossier falsely alleged Trump’s ties to Russia and was central to the investigation.
CIA insiders relayed the concerns to Trump’s CIA Director pick, John Ratcliffe. Now, officials are reviewing whether Brennan lied under oath when he denied using the dossier during testimony. Though the statute of limitations on perjury has passed, officials are exploring conspiracy to commit perjury charges.
Comey is also being scrutinized, especially after a cryptic social media post earlier this year that triggered a visit from the Secret Service.
On Sunday, Trump officials, DoJ personnel, and intelligence leaders met to discuss further declassifications.
Among the items under review are John Durham’s deposition transcripts and Crossfire Hurricane documents. Durham concluded in 2023 that the Trump-Russia collusion theory was baseless.
One senior official stated, “Obama ordered the CIA to set Trump up and knock him off balance before he could even get started. This was an influence operation far more consequential than anything President Vladimir Putin cooked up. Obama and Hillary schemed the op, and the CIA and FBI ran it.”
Gabbard’s release appears to be the first move in exposing what may become one of the largest political scandals in modern FPSA history.
