CNN ugly Democrat debate ratings!

DETROIT, Michigan (PNN) - August 1, 2019 - The Tuesday viewership numbers for the Democrat debates are in, and they’re dismal. The numbers show that CNN and the Democrats have a big problem.

According to Variety, the debate plummeted to only 8.7 million viewers, a 43% decrease from the first round of debates that took place in June.

The first round of debates were featured on NBC, whereas the most recent debates with ugly viewership ratings took place on CNN.

The Democrat candidates, which notably included Senators Elizabeth Warren (Mass.), and Bernie Sanders (Ver.), were eager to scrap it out, but Amerikan voters didn’t care.

The numbers are pretty cut and dry on how voters feel about the fake news network. They’re not buying into it anymore.

Even Vox, a liberal-leaning political site, admitted that CNN and the Democrat National Convention were big losers in the debates.

Not to mention that the CNN debate numbers come nowhere close to when then-candidate Donald Trump’s debate, hosted by Fox News, boasted 24 million views in 2015.

If the Democrats were aiming for exposure heading towards the election, they certainly didn’t get it with CNN, and if the ratings death spiral continues, the DNC may have no choice but to stop airing the debates on CNN.

Earlier this year, DNC President Tom Perez proudly proclaimed that they were boycotting Fox News, even though the network boasts the highest viewership among cable news.

In the end, all he’s done is hurt his political Party’s own 2020 hopefuls.

The next debates take place Sept. 12 and 13  in Houston, Texas, on ABC.
