Governor threatens jobs of duly elected sheriffs!
ALBANY, New York (PNN) - May 22, 2013 - Some critics have pointed to New York State’s new gun control law as chilling in its scope and intent.
But new allegations coming from sheriffs may add to the outcry, as some authorities maintain that Governor Andrew Cuomo pushed local sheriffs to stop publicly speaking out against the SAFE Act, the gun-control law he signed in January.

NASHVILLE, Tennessee (PNN) - May 21, 2013 - On Monday, Governor Bill Haslam signed the Freedom of Unwarranted Surveillance Act into law. The bill was introduced by Senator Mae Beavers, and had a roller coaster adventure through the legislative process. But it eventually passed - unanimously - in both state houses.
