Powerful 6.2 magnitude earthquake strikes off the coast of Japan near Fukushima!

TOKYO, Japan (PNN) - September 21, 2017 - A powerful 6.2 magnitude earthquake has struck off the coast of Japan near Fukushima.

Details of the extent of the damage have not yet emerged regarding the quake, which hit 281km southeast of Kamaishi.

The depth of the earthquake, which struck at 2.37 a.m. local time, was measured at 10km.
