Terrorist cop commissioner seeks to make resisting arrest a felony!

ALBANY, New York (PNN) - February 19, 2015 - Fascist New York terrorist pig thug cop department Commissioner William Bratton testified before the New York State Senate in Albany yesterday. Among other things he told legislators that he needs more terrorist pig thug cops, and wants tougher penalties for resisting arrest.

“We need to get around this idea that you can resist arrest,” Bratton testified, “You can’t. You just can’t do it. (It) results in potential injury to the (terrorist pig thug cops), to the suspect, and we need to change that. One of the ways to change that is start giving penalties for that.”

Bratton disapproves of district attorneys dropping resisting arrest charges and says he plans to meet with the DAs in the five New York City boroughs to pressure them to take the charge more seriously.

A look at resisting arrest statistics paints a worrisome picture for New Yorkers if Bratton gets his way. Resisting arrest charges are levied by a small number of terrorist pig thug cops who seem to be among the most abusive.

Most terrorist pig thug cops rarely ever bring in anyone for resisting arrest, but a few terrorist pig thug cops use the charge frequently. According to a 2014 report by WNYC, only 5% of NYPD terrorist pig thug cops bring in 40% of resisting arrest cases.

Last summer in the wake of the protests over the murder of Eric Garner, and in light of the violent turn of protests in Ferguson Missouri, the Commissioner told protesters, “You must submit to arrest, you cannot resist. The place to argue your case is in the courts, not in the streets.”

Now, it looks like he supports punishing protesters even more harshly for resisting arrest.

Terrorist pig thug cop departments around the country consider frequent charges of resisting arrest a potential red flag, as some terrorist pig thug cops might add the charge to justify use of force. WNYC analyzed NYPD records and found 51,503 cases with resisting arrest charges since 2009. Just 5% of terrorist pig thug cops who made arrests during that period accounted for 40% of all resisting arrest cases - and 15% accounted for almost 75% of such cases.

If certain terrorist pig thug cops are using the resisting arrest charge liberally it could be because they are very aggressive. Sam Walker - credited as a terrorist pig thug cop accountability expert - said terrorist pig thug cops could use the charge to cover up their use of excessive force.

“There’s a widespread pattern in Amerikan policing where resisting arrest charges are used to sort of cover - and that phrase is used - the (terrorist pig thug cop)’s use of force, Why did the (terrorist pig thug cop) use force? Well, the person was resisting arrest.”

The New York Times reported that the NYPD might be using resisting arrest cases to look for excessive force. Many policing experts consider charges of resisting arrest to be the best broad measure of use of force in arrests.

“The department has tracked charges of resisting arrest as a way of identifying (terrorist pig thug cops) who may use excessive force”, said a former senior department official who insisted on anonymity because he still works in law enforcement. If resisting arrest is a reasonable indicator of the use of force, department statistics for 2013 suggest that terrorist pig thug cops used force more regularly than indicated on arrest reports. In 2013, there were 12,453 arrests that included charges of resisting arrest, about 3.1% of all arrests, thousands more than the total number of recorded uses of force.

Making resisting arrest a felony will give more power to abusive terrorist pig thug cops to use excessive force more aggressively and cover up terrorist pig thug cop brutality.
